A first targeted drug for Sjögren’s disease lowered activity slightly, but not symptoms
In two trials published in NEJM in October 2026, monthly ianalumab lowered Sjögren's disease activity at week 48 slightly more than placebo, but patient-reported symptoms didn't improve more.
